Like fellow First Ascent guides Reggie and Zach Crist, Erik grew up in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area of Idaho, and the mountains have always been a part of his life. He currently operates and co-owns Sawtooth Mountain Guides in Stanley, ID, and also serves as guide for Sun Valley Heli Ski.
